This yang and yin hip opening workshop is an opportunity to explore how your pelvis uniquely moves you. We'll warm up with a brightening asana practice that strengthens and mobilizes structures of the hips. Then we’ll turn to the stilling and quieting practice of yin yoga, releasing tensions we hold in our hips while nourishing their connective tissue layers.
In this workshop we’ll apply a yin/yang lens to review basic hip anatomy, discuss yang and yin tissues of the pelvis, and explore how we can support our hips’ optimal health and resilience through varied movement practices.
